About Cretaceous Card Arena
Cretaceous Card Arena is a single-player dinosaur card duel built with SpriteKit. Each level is a 10-round duel against a rival deck. Scout the rival dinosaur, then pick the card from your hand that wins on size, diet, zone, combat class, and skill.
The game spans 30 levels with a smooth difficulty curve. Player health starts at 120 + level × 4, rival health at 112 + level × 6. The roster has 26 dinosaur species across four size tiers (Small, Medium, Large, Huge), three diets (Carnivore, Herbivore, Omnivore), three zones (Land, Air, Water), and seven combat classes (Scout, Sky, Tide, Herd, Armor, Predator, Titan).
Each level runs up to 10 rounds. You hold 5 cards in hand and play one per round. The rival plays a random card. The winner of each round deals damage. Reduce the rival's health to zero before yours hits zero to win the level and unlock the next.
How to Play
Start a Duel
Tap Start Duel on the main menu to continue from your highest unlocked level, or visit Levels to pick any unlocked stage.
Scout the Rival
Read the rival's class, diet, and zone from the scout badge. This tells you what matchup advantages to look for in your hand.
Preview a Card
Tap a card in your hand to lift it and see its full stats: size, diet, zone, class, attack, health, and skill name.
Play the Right Card
Double tap the lifted card to play it. The game resolves the round based on size, diet, zone, class, and skill bonuses.
Watch the Result
Higher score wins the round and deals damage. Guard reduces damage taken. Some skills heal, add guard, or weaken the rival.
Win the Duel
Reduce the rival's health to zero before yours hits zero to win the level and unlock the next. Progress saves automatically on the device.

How do I play?
Scout the rival dinosaur, then double tap a card from your hand to play it. Size, diet, zone, class, and skill all add bonuses. Win rounds to deal damage and reduce the rival's health to zero.
Does it need internet?
No. Cretaceous Card Arena is fully offline. No ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking.
